The Baigong Pipes- Nature or OOPart?

We’re all familiar with the concept of modern technology having ancient Chinese analogues. But a 2002 discovery in remote Qinghai province is anachronistic enough to constitute an OOPart. Out-of-place-artifacts are so unusual, or found in such improbable contexts, that mainstream science has no plausible explanation for them.
The crystal skulls of Mexico referenced in the latest Indiana Jones movie, the iron pillar of Delhi, and the ancient Greek Antikythera mechanism are examples of OOPart yet to be explained. Like these, the pipes of Qinghai’s Mount Baigong suggest a level of technology simply inconceivable for the apparent era of their manufacture. Those open-minded enough to think “extraterrestrial” when searching for a theory, while often dismissed out-of-hand, have like-minded souls in some of the Chinese scientists investigating.
Locals, residing forty kilometers southeast of Qinghai’s Delingha city, have known of the pipes for centuries. They credit aliens for their construction, and even have legends of extraterrestrial visitors to Mt. Baigong. Although the stories are met with predictable skepticism, they become harder to laugh off when one takes in the sixty-meter pyramid near the mountain’s summit. Superficially, the pyramid could be shrugged off as having been shaped by natural forces. For some reason, however, the structure has not been conclusively studied, at least officially.
Near the foot of Mt. Baigong lie three caves, the largest and most accessible some eight meters high by six meters deep. Inside, spanning from the roof to the back end of the cave, runs a pipe 40 cm in diameter. Another one roughly the same size runs into the earth from the floor, with just the top protruding.

The pipes, according to tests carried out at a local smeltery, are made chiefly of iron, but with an unusual thirty percent silicon dioxide in their matrix. They are also centuries old, if Xinhua and its source, Liu Shaolin, the engineer who carried out preliminary tests, are to be believed. Strange, but easily written off as a bizarre metallurgical operation by some nomads with too much time on their hands, assuming geological origins of the eerily symmetrical pyramid.
However, dozens of pipe openings have been discovered in the mountains far above the caves. Now these nomads must be credited with some advanced system of drilling since forgotten, as there is no modern industry in the area nor record of such. Not far from the foot of Baigong sits Toson Lake, on whose beach run many more iron pipes in unlikely patterns and in a variety of diameters, toothpick-sized at the thinnest. More pipes are in the lake, some protruding above the water surface, others buried beneath the lake’s bed.Although nine Chinese scientists were reportedly dispatched to make a detailed analysis of the pipes in 2002, there has been no further information. This hasn’t prevented local government from promoting the site as a tourist attraction. A CCTV crew went to Mt. Baigong soon after, accompanied by researchers from the Beijing UFO Research Association, but no record or footage of the expedition has come to our attention. If this is because such documentation would be widely laughed off, then they would at the expense of Yang Ji, a research fellow of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences who told Xinhua that the extraterrestrial theory was “understandable and worth looking into”.
Then again, plain old terrestrial science has many mysteries left to be fully explained. Similar pipe-like structures have been found in the Jurassic sandstone of the Southwestern United States, as well as in Citronelle formations in Louisiana. No pyramids have been found close on, and researchers have concluded that they were formed through natural processes. But similar conclusions from scientists studying the Baigong pipes have yet to be announced, six years later.

‘NAZCA-LIKE’ LINES DISCOVERED IN MIDDLE EAST

They are seen from Syria to Saudi Arabia, can only be viewed from the air and almost no one knows of their existence. These constructs are Middle-East’s own versions of the well known ‘Nazca Lines’, old geoglyphs or drawings in the desert sands of the Peruvian plateau. Using satellites and aerial photography scientists are discovering more geoglyphs in Jordan than ever before.
Thousands of lined constructions have been discovered. The stone structures, which archaeologists call ‘wheels’, were discovered in different designs. The most common design is a circle with spokes. Researchers believe that they date back at least 2,000 years. They are often found on lava fields and range between 25 and 70 meters in size.

“In Jordan alone we’ve got stone-built structures that are far more numerous than (the) Nazca Lines, far more extensive in the area that they cover, and far older,” said David Kennedy, a professor of classics and ancient history at the University of Western Australia. Kennedy and his colleagues are trying to identify the archaeological sites in Jordan from the air. Yet they have no idea for what purpose the lines were used and what significance they had. Did these ancient designers just liked to decorate the ground with rocks or did they want to send a message to the sky? Since they weren’t supposedly to have flying machines 2000 years ago, why would they’ve bothered to make this only-viewable-from-the-sky designs in the first place?

Spaceship Moon Theory

Over the years, it has been scientifically observed that the Earth’s Moon holds some strange characteristics. The Moon is the 5th largest natural satellite in the Solar System. It is believed to have been created by a giant impact between the young Earth and a Mars-sized body. After examination, it has been noted that the Moon is apparently in the wrong orbit for its size, according to its current assumed density. Astronomy data indicates that the internal regions of the Moon are less dense than the outer, giving rise to the inevitable speculation that it could be hollow. Some of these claims come from the fact that when meteors strike the Moon, it rings like a bell. More specifically, when the Apollo crew, on November 20, 1969, released the lunar module, after returning to the orbiter, the module impact with the Moon caused their seismic equipment to register a continuous reverberation like a bell for more than an hour.
In July of 1970, members of the then Soviet Academy of Sciences, Michael Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov, proposed the Spaceship Moon Theory. The pseudoscientific theory claims that the Earth’s moon may actually be an alien spacecraft. Vasin and Shcherbakov’s thesis was that the Moon is a hollowed-out planetoid created by unknown beings with technology far superior to any on Earth. Huge machines would have been used to melt rock and form large cavities within the Moon. The Moon would, therefore, consist of a hull-like inner shell and an outer shell made from metallic rocky slag. The “Spaceship Moon” was then placed into orbit around the Earth. Proponents of this theory point to the increased reports and pictures of UFOs taken by NASA on their missions to the moon. It has been found that asteroids and meteors not only create shallow craters on the Moon’s surface, but produce a convex floor to the crater instead of concave as expected, supporting the idea of a rigid shell.
The moon is far older than previously expected, maybe even older than the Earth or the Sun. The oldest age for the Earth is estimated to be 4.6 billion years old, while Moon rocks were dated at 5.3 billion years. The chemical composition of the dust upon which the rocks sit is remarkably different from the rocks themselves. This indicates that the lunar surface may have been moved from somewhere else and placed on the Moon. Some of the Moon’s craters originated internally, yet there is no indication that the Moon was ever hot enough to produce volcanic eruptions. Hundreds of moonquakes are recorded each year that cannot be attributed to meteor strikes. Some of the quakes seem to follow a specific schedule.
The moon’s crust is much harder than originally presumed. When NASA was recorded drilling down a few inches into the Moon’s surface, it appeared that metal shavings were visible. Earth’s moon is the only natural satellite in the Solar System that has a stationary, near-perfect circular orbit. How does one explain the coincidence that the moon is just the right distance, coupled with just the right diameter, to completely cover the sun during an eclipse? Professional astronomers have been gradually discouraged from investigating a phenomenon that has been reported on the Moon for 1,000 years. It is short-lived light, color, or other changes in the appearance of the lunar surface, referred to as Transient Lunar Phenomena.
Animal Mutilation !?

Cattle mutilation is a term that has been adopted to describe the apparent killing, and then mutilation, of cattle under unusual or anomalous circumstances. Sheep and horses have also been mutilated, and the phenomenon is not specific to cattle. A hallmark of these incidents is the surgical nature of the mutilation. The creatures are often found completely drained of blood, with missing internal organs. There is no obvious point of entry, and the surgically precise removal of the animal’s reproductive organs and anal coring is consistent. Another strange occurrence surrounding the mutilations is that the animal’s bodies are found dumped in an area where there are no marks or tracks leading to or from the carcass, even when the body is found in soft ground or mud. The surgical-type wounds observed appear to be made by intense heat and a very sharp/precise instrument.
Often flesh will be removed to the bone in an exact manner and location, such as around the jaw exposing the mandible. The first largely reported case of mutilation occurred near Alamosa, Colorado, in 1967. The event involved a horse named Lady, who was discovered with her head and neck skinned. The cuts on the horse were very precise and no blood was found. According to Lady’s owner, there was a strong medicinal odor in the air that surrounded the corpse. At the scene, fifteen tapering, circular exhaust marks were punched into the ground. This evidence was discovered over an area of some 5000 square yards. Similar to other cases of animal mutilation, the area surrounding Lady showed an increase in radiation levels. By the mid 1970s, mutilated cattle were reported in 15 US states and in many other areas all over the world.
Many of the accounts include unexplained lights, sounds and UFOs. It has been noted that mutilated cattle are avoided by large scavengers, such as coyotes, wolves, foxes, dogs, skunks, badgers and bobcats for several days after death. Similarly, domestic animals are reported to be visibly agitated and fearful of the carcass. According to Dr. Howard Burgess, nearly 90% of mutilated cattle are between four and five years old. Laboratory reports carried out on some of these animals have shown unusually high or low levels of vitamins or minerals in tissue samples, and the presence of chemicals not normally found in animals.
In one case involving a 1978 mutilated cow in New Mexico, samples from the animal’s liver were found to be completely devoid of copper and to contain four times the normal level of zinc, potassium and phosphorus. As you would suspect, a government cover-up has been offered as an explanation for the deaths. This is often fueled by the reported presence of black helicopters near mutilation sites. Various hypotheses have been written, suggesting that cattle mutilations have been committed by aliens who are gathering genetic material for unknown purposes. Proponents of the ancient alien theory suggest that, as cows make up a significant part of the global human diet, a study is being carried out on this element of the human food chain.
Technical advancement – An alien intervention!?

During WWII, the term foo fighter was used by Allied aircraft pilots to describe the various UFOs and mysterious aerial phenomena seen in the skies over both the European and Pacific Theater of Operations. In the wake of the war, the world entered an era of substantial achievement and technical advancement. One such example is the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, which is a United States aircraft that was developed in the early 1960s. The SR-71 Blackbird is a strategic reconnaissance aircraft that currently holds the air speed record. In 1903, Wilbur Wright set the aircraft speed record going 6.82 mph (10.98 km/h). In 1976, the SR-71 Blackbird went 2,193.2 mph (3,529.6 km/h). The craft was manned by Eldon W. Joersz during the record flight, but is highly capable of taking off and landing unassisted.In modern times, organizations have been developed, such as the Disclosure Project, which have alleged the existence of a world government cover-up of information relating to unidentified flying objects and alien encounters. People argue that the technical advancements humans have experienced since WWII have been achieved with the help of extraterrestrial life and equipment. Proponents of the ancient alien theory have suggested that the development of nuclear weapons sparked an increased interest in humanity’s evolutionary path, ultimately leading to an era of mass abductions and close encounters. Some others point to the current global climate disruption and apocalypse predictions, identifying them as a precursor for the secret extraterrestrial involvement and intervention on Earth, ensuring the survival of life.
Solway Firth Spaceman

Val Camonica, Italy, is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps, in eastern Lombardy. It is the location of a set of ancient paintings that are believed to depict forgotten deities. The pictures resemble modern day astronauts, despite being painted
around 10,000 BC. I can see the resemblance to a space suit, but I am
more impressed with the modern day photographic evidence that was
captured by the Solway Firth Spaceman photograph. On May 23, 1964, Jim
Templeton, a firefighter from Carlisle, Cumberland, took three pictures of his five-year-old daughter while on a day trip to Burgh Marsh, situated near Burgh by Sands and overlooking the Solway Firth in Cumbria, England.The only other people reported on the marshes that day were a couple of old ladies, and although cows and sheep would have normally been plentiful, they were huddled together at the far end of the marsh. In the second image captured by Templeton, a white figure can be seen in what looks like a space suit. Templeton insists that he did not see the figure until after his photographs were developed, and analysts at Kodak confirmed that the photograph was genuine. To this day, the picture remains unexplained and a source of international fascination. When the picture was taken, in 1964, human space suits were in their extreme infancy. It has been suggested by some people that the figure is merely someone with their back to the camera, perhaps wearing a hat or helmet.
Upon the national release of the photograph, Jim Templeton claimed that he was visited by two men who, he says, came from Her Majesty’s Government. The men tried to make Templeton admit that he had photographed a person, but he refused. In the same time frame that the picture was taken, a Blue Streak missile launch at the Woomera Test Range, using Cumbrian-built weaponry, was aborted because of two large men who were witnessed on the firing range. The technicians reported that the figures resembled the Solway Firth Spaceman. Ufologists have used the photograph as evidence that extraterrestrial life has influenced the modern day space program, including space suits.
Angels and Demons

The idea of ancient astronauts has spawned a UFO religion named Raëlism. The Raelian Movement teaches that life on Earth was scientifically created by a species of extraterrestrials, which they call the Elohim. Members of the Elohim appeared human and were mistaken for angels, cherubim or gods. The Bible is full of accounts of angels and demons. The text mentions millions of angels and their experiences on Earth and in the heavens.
In Christian tradition, demons are similar to angels. They are spiritual, immutable and immortal. The individual demon owns a specific knowledge, sometimes on only one subject. The apocryphal Book of Enoch recounts that a group of 200 rebellious angels, or Watchers, left heaven and came down to Earth to marry human women and have children with them.
The Quran depicts a story of angels that are given minds of their own, found in verse [2:34]. One of the angels was Iblis (Satan/Lucifer), who rebelled and was therefore banished on earth to create mischief amongst mankind. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, angels were all created as good beings, but some decided to become evil. It was written that angels do not need faith as they already have the knowledge of celestial things, which means that their action constitutes unforgivable sin. The idea of alien intervention on Earth can be found in the modern religious philosophy of Thelema. Thelema was developed by the early 20th century British writer, Aleister Crowley.
Crowley’s system of Thelema begins with The Book of the Law, which he claims was a direct dictation from an entity named Aiwass. Crowley later identified Aiwass as his own Holy Guardian Angel. The religion is founded upon the idea that the 20th century marked the beginning of the Aeon of Horus, in which a new ethical code would be followed; “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.”
The famed American rocket propulsion researcher, Jack Parsons, was one of the first Americans to take a keen interest in the writings of Aleister Crowley. Parsons research into rocket propulsion was some of the earliest in United States history. His pioneering work in the development of solid fuel, and the invention of Jet-fuel Assisted Take Off units for aircraft was of great importance to the start of humanity’s space age. The work of Parsons and his peers helped people usher in the age of space travel. Jack Parsons was largely self-educated.
Angel Hair

Angel hair is a substance that is said to be dispersed from UFOs as they fly overhead. It has been described as being like a cobweb or a jelly. Angel hair has been reported at sightings of the Virgin Mary. This fact has intrigued ancient alien believers, and has been used as a possible indication of extraterrestrial influence at reported sightings of the Virgin Mary and Jesus. Historical reports of angel hair show that the substance disintegrates, or evaporates, within a short time of forming. One publicized theory of UFO believers is that the substance is “ionized air sleeting off an electromagnetic field” that surrounds a craft. The most reported incident of angel hair occurred in Oloron, France, in 1952. The event was characterized by a large amount of unexplained aircraft sightings.
On November 2, 1959, in the Portuguese city of Évora, angel hair was collected and analyzed by armed forces technicians and scientists of the University of Lisbon. Conclusions stated that the substance was so advanced that it could be a single-celled organism of some kind, a vegetable product, not animal. People have connected references in the Bible to the phenomenon of angel hair. Pixie dust is said to be related. Beginning in the 14th century, humans began to mention a gelatinous substance named star jelly. Star jelly is described as a translucent or grayish white gelatin, which tends to evaporate shortly after falling. In the past, the substance was connected with meteor showers. Angel grass is a related phenomenon that occurs when short metallic threads fall to the ground in intertwined loosed masses. However, angel grass is an explained occurrence and comes from certain military aircraft. It is a type of Chaff, used as a radar counter-measure.
Miracle of the Sun

Starting in May of 1917, something happened to three shepherd children in the town of Fátima, Portugal. The events have become known as Our Lady of Fátima. Starting on May 1, 1917, the children began to describe seeing a woman “brighter than the sun, shedding rays of light clearer and stronger than a crystal ball, pierced by the burning rays of the sun.” The being was reported to have appeared to the children on the 13th day of six consecutive months in 1917, starting on May 13. According to ten year old Lúcia Santo, in the course of her encounters, the woman confided to the children three secrets, now known as the Three Secrets of Fátima. Thousands of people flocked to Fátima and Aljustrel in the ensuing months, drawn by reports of visions and miracles. On three separate occasions before the Miracle of the Sun, the children reported that the Lady had promised to them that she would, on October 13, 1917, reveal her identity and provide a miracle “so that all may believe.”
On October 13, 1917, the Miracle of the Sun was witnessed and reported by 50,000 to 100,000 people in the Cova da Iria fields near Fátima, Portugal. The people in attendance had assembled to observe the publicized event. According to many statements, after a downfall of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the Earth, the people and the surrounding clouds. The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth in a zigzag pattern. It was said that the people’s previously wet clothes became “suddenly and completely dry,” as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain. According to the reports, the event lasted approximately ten minutes.
The Miracle of the Sun was marked by a large amount of angel hair over the land. On July 13, 1917, the lady is said to have entrusted the children with three secrets. These secrets have been highly controversial in the Catholic Church, and have been revealed to the public at different time periods, with the final one coming out in 2000. The First Secret was allegedly a vision of Hell. The Second Secret was a statement that World War I would end and goes on to predict World War II. The second half of the secret includes information about Russia and requests that it become consecrated to the Immaculate Heart. It should be noted that the Second Secret wasn’t revealed until 1941, after World War II had already began.
The majority of the controversy is with the Third Secret. It was revealed in 2000 and includes information about the persecution of Christians in the 20th century that culminated in the failed assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. However, historical references to the Third Secret indicate something else entirely, with information regarding Apocalypse, a great apostasy, and satanic infiltration of the Catholic Church. If you are unfamiliar, apostasy is the formal disaffiliation from, or abandonment of, a religion by a person, basically, criticism of a person’s former religion. In 1980, John Paul II was quoted on the Third Secret. “It should be sufficient for all Christians to know this much. If there is a message, it is said that the oceans will flood entire sections of the Earth and from one moment to the other, millions of people will perish.”

Reptilians? Shape shifting?The Reptilians or Reptoids alien race (which is a word mixed from reptilians and humanoids and are the same creature) are human looking lizard creatures that can shape shift. They are also known as dinosauroids, lizardfolk, lizardmen Saurians alpha draconians, and Sauroids.
Reptilians are tall, around 7 to 9 feet, have green scaly skin, three long fingers and an opposable thumb with talons on the ends, holes for ears, muscular legs and arms, and large eyes. There have been reports of Reptilians with and without tails, with and without wings, and hidden genitalia. They have been sighted wearing very little clothes except for armor but are always seen with some sort of utility belt said to be used to help them become invisible.
Reptilians and the New World Order
Reptilians are a very dangerous alien species that are bent on the domination of Earth. They are very intelligent, known as evil, have telekinetic powers and have a warlike mentality that has driven them to secretly incorporate themselves into our society for their cause. Some conspiracy theory’s suspect that many important leaders are actually Reptilians acting as humans in order to help them with their agenda (From as George W. Bush to members of the British royal family).
There are a few different theories as to where the Reptilians actually come from. Some say that they were here on Earth before us humans and live in secret underground, in various caverns around the world while others believe that they are from the Alpha Draconi star system of the Orion Constellation or both.
Reptilians The Pyramids The Mayans and The Bible
The Reptilians have been around since the beginning of man kind and have been thought to have given the human race much of it’s early technology, helped build the pyramids, worked with the Mayans, and helped start early religions pretending to be Gods and manipulating Adam and Eve in the Bible (While dealing with the story of the Garden of Eden, the Midrash also deals with the serpent. It declares that before causing Adam and Eve to sin, “it had legs” (Bereishit Rabbah, 19). According to this, the serpent was once a tall, splendid and regal creature. When its fate was decided and it is written that “upon thy belly shall thou go” (Bereishit 3:14), “the ministering angels descended and cut off its arms and legs” (Bereishit Rabbah, 20).
This tradition gives the image of the enticing serpent an impressive dimension, that has repercussions on many viewpoints of the ancient world, which saw the serpent as representing forces of evil on one hand and as possessing supernatural powers on the other hand.). Unfortunately their final goal is to eventually enslave the human race in the “New World Order” and use humans for mining and other physical tasks when the time is right.Out of all the different types of aliens visiting Earth the Reptilians are by far the most dangerous to our very existence as humans. They have very little respect for us and want the Earth for themselves. Some say that the greys have been working against the Reptilians in order to help the human race but it is unclear why. They may have a similar agenda and just don’t want the reptilians to acquire the Earth before them.

The Stone Balls of Bosnia

Mysterious
carved stone balls found across Bosnia are similar to ones found in
Costa Rica.To date, some 390 stone balls have been found in Costa Rica,
all finely finished, but it is not clear how they were created as no
tools have been found to explain this.Some of these balls were found
buried together with pieces of ceramics that suggest that these balls
are at least 1200-1300 years old – dating them before the arrival of
Christopher Columbus.
People who found these balls have said that they are
always found in group of three, in the shape of a triangle, and always
placed in the North-South direction. They are generally found on
hills.Two of these stone balls have been transferred to the USA
(National Geographic Society in Washington, and Harvard University in
Cambridge).Various theories have been suggested to explain the presence
of the stone balls in Costa Rica. American archaeologist Samuel K
Lothrop (“Archeology of the Diquis Delta, Costa Rica”, Peabody Museum of
Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University, 1963), for example,
concludes that there is evidence that the stone balls have been oriented
astronomically.
There has been little theorising to date about stone
balls in Bosnia. Explorer Semir Osmanagic first heard about their
presence from a Bosnian friend, Bojan zecevic, in 2004. They then
contacted Bosnian historians and created a team to explore the
phenomenon of the ‘Bosnian Stone balls’ .They first explored the North
West region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the village Trn near the town
of Banja Luka they found that two balls had been used as part of a
foundation of a house, each with a radius of 30-40 cm. They were finely
polished and heavier than normal stone. A short distance from the house
they found the pieces of a ball that had been cut in half; the damaged
ball has a radius of one metre.In the North Bosnian village of Teocak,
eight balls have been found.
All these balls are geometrically shaped but none of
them are finely polished. They are granit and some of the balls have
holes across their surface.These stone balls have been found in several
locations – a restaurant in Vares has even been named after the stone
outside and is called ‘Kugla Restoran’ or Stone Ball Restaurant.The
largest stone ball found in Bosnia (near the village of Slatina,
Banjaluka) is unfinished. Historians believe that it would have been
polished to complete the geometric shape of the ball Geologist Mile
Vujacic believes that the Bosnian stone balls were produced naturally by
water shaping the rock over a long period – although this conclusion is
uncertain given the number of locations where these stone balls have
been found and their correct geometric shape.
No one can be sure just how many of these stone balls
exist in Bosnia but the number found to date may represent a small
fraction of the true number. The balls have been buried over hundreds of
years and only accidental findings are bringing them to light.

The James Lumley Case – October 1865

The Wright Brothers may have been the first to put an machine into
the sky, but people had been looking up at flying aircraft for decades
before the brothers launched the first airplane.
Reports of UFOs were recorded in newspapers of the 19th century.
Among the most famous was written in the St. Louis Democrat, Oct. 19,
1865. That article appeared two weeks later in The Cincinnati
Commercial, bringing more public awareness to UFOs. The account was of
an old Montana fir trapper by the name of James Lumley who saw a UFO fly
over him and crash into the forest, exploding like a rocket. The story
picked up by the Missouri Democrat and other newspapers, which
contributed to national attention or awareness of alien spacecraft.
Most fur trappers may tell tales of Indians, or bears, or mountain
lions, but Lumley’s account of a flying saucer that crashed into Cadotte
Pass was among the most explicit and remains a mystery to this day. It
is said that debris from the crash may still be up there, but few there
has been no findings since. Nevertheless the story has remained one of
the most mysterious of the 1800s.
Lumley was about 175 miles above the Upper Missouri in Great Falls Montana. He was on his way back to his camp site when he saw a “bright luminous body in the heavens.” It went rapidly into an eastern direction and was plainly visible for about five seconds. As it flew Lumley saw it burst into an explosion in the sky and he later heard an explosion. It was shortly followed by a strong wind through the forest like a tornado, and the event left the air smelling like sulfur.
The next day, after walking two miles, he saw a path “several rods wide” made through the forest. He followed the path and discovered an object or rather a stone on the side of the mountain. What was unusual about this stone is that it had strange hieroglyphics and glass in it. Lumley felt the fragment he had found had come from an immense body and that the hieroglyphics must have been used for some purpose and made by human hands.

Aurora, Texas UFO Case of 1897 Cigar Shaped Mystery Ships Reported Across The USA
Posted in Introduction in the Theory on august 1, 2011 by Ancient AliensThe Aurora UFO Incident that reportedly occurred on April 17, 1897 in Aurora, Texas, a small town in the northwest corner of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. The incident (similar to the more famous Roswell UFO Incident 50 years later) reportedly resulted in a fatality from the crash. The alleged alien body is was buried in an unmarked grave at the local cemetery.
The incident as reported
During the 1896–1897 timeframe (some six or seven years before the
Wright Brothers first flight), numerous sightings of a cigar-shaped
mystery airship were reported across the United States.
One of these accounts appeared in the April 19, 1897 edition of the
Dallas Morning News. Written by Aurora resident S.E. Haydon, the
alleged UFO is said to have hit a windmill on the property of a Judge
J.S. Proctor two days earlier at around 6am local (Central) time,
resulting in its crash. The pilot (who was reported to be “not of this
world”, and a “Martian” according to a purported Army officer from
nearby Fort Worth did not survive the crash, and was buried “with
Christian rites” at the nearby Aurora Cemetery. (The cemetery contains a
Texas Historical Commission marker mentioning the incident.)
Purportedly, wreckage from the crash site was dumped into a nearby
well located under the damaged windmill, while some ended up with the
alien in the grave. Adding to the mystery was the story of Mr. Brawley
Oates, who purchased Judge Procter’s property around 1945. Oates cleaned
out the debris from the well in order to use it as a water source, but
later developed an extremely severe case of arthritis, which he claimed
to be the result of contaminated water from the wreckage dumped into the
well. As a result, Oates sealed up the well with a concrete slab and
placed an outbuilding atop the slab. (According to writing on the slab,
this was done in 1957.)
Hoax theory
The hoax theory is primarily based on historical research performed
by Barbara Brammer, a former mayor of Aurora. Her research (featured as
part of the UFO Files episode on the incident) revealed that, in the
months prior to the alleged crash, Aurora had been beset by a series of
tragic incidents. First, the local cotton crop (the major source of town
revenue) was destroyed by a boll weevil infestation. Second, a fire on
the town’s west side claimed several buildings and lives. Shortly after
the fire, a spotted fever epidemic hit the town, nearly wiping out the
remaining citizens and placing the town under quarantine. Finally, a
planned railroad got within 27 miles of Aurora, but never made it into
the town. Essentially, Aurora (which claimed nearly 3,000 residents at
the time) was in serious danger of dying out; Brammer’s research also
showed that Haydon was known in the town to be a bit of a jokester, and
her conclusion is that Haydon’s article was a last-ditch attempt to keep
Aurora alive.
The theory was further supported by the fact that Haydon never
performed any sort of follow-up on the story, not even to report on the
alien’s burial, which is highly unusual given the significance of the
event.
Further, in 1979 Time magazine interviewed Etta Pegues who claimed
that Haydon had fabricated the entire story, stating that Haydon “wrote
it as a joke and to bring interest to Aurora. The railroad bypassed us,
and the town was dying.”
Pegues further claimed that Judge Proctor never operated a windmill
on his property, a statement later refuted as part of the UFO
Hunters episode.
Investigations
The incident has been investigated on numerous occasions. One was
broadcast by local television station KDFW Fox 4 and two were aired on
cable television,.
KDFW Report
In 1998, Dallas-based TV station KDFW aired a lengthy report about the Aurora incident. Reporter Richard Ray interviewed former Fort Worth Star Telegram reporter Jim Marrs and other locals, who said something crashed in Aurora. However, Ray’s report was unable to find conclusive evidence of extra-terrestrial life or technology. Ray reported that the State of Texas erected a historical plaque in town that outlines the tale and labels it “legend.”

UFO Files investigation
On December 2, 2005, UFO Files first aired an episode related to
this incident, titled “Texas’ Roswell”. The episode featured a 1973
investigation led by Bill Case, an aviation writer for the Dallas Times
Herald and the Texas state director of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).
MUFON uncovered two new eyewitnesses to the crash. Mary Evans, who
was 15 at the time, told of how her parents went to the crash site (they
forbade her from going) and the discovery of the alien body. Charlie
Stephens, who was age 10, told how he saw the airship trailing smoke as
it headed north toward Aurora. He wanted to see what happened, but his
father made him finish his chores; later, he told how his father went to
town the next day and saw wreckage from the crash.
MUFON’s investigation uncovered a piece of metal, reportedly from
the wreckage, that upon further analysis was revealed to be composed of
95% aluminum and 5% iron, with no traces of zinc. This alloy is very
uncommon in nature (and the lack of zinc, normally present with iron,
even more uncommon), and combined with other analysis which stated that
the metal was air-cooled on the ground, led to the assertion raised in
MUFON’s report that, given the presumption that it originated in 1897,
the sample could not be of terrestrial nature. However, MUFON’s report
does not discount the explanation that the sample was simply left there
at some point during the last century; as discussed in the episode,
analyses performed on other purported pieces revealed iron-zinc alloys
common to farms such as those around Aurora. Furthermore, Oates declined
to allow MUFON to uncover the well.
MUFON then investigated the Aurora Cemetery, and uncovered a grave
marker that appeared to show a flying saucer of some sort, as well as
readings from its metal detector. MUFON asked for permission to exhume
the site, but the cemetery association declined permission. After the
MUFON investigation, the marker mysteriously disappeared from the
cemetery and a three-inch pipe was placed into the ground; MUFON’s metal
detector no longer picked up metal readings from the grave, thus it was
presumed that the metal was removed from the grave.
MUFON’s report eventually stated that the evidence was
inconclusive, but did not rule out the possibility of a hoax. The
episode featured an interview with Mayor Brammer who discussed the
town’s tragic history.
UFO Hunters investigation
On November 19, 2008, UFO Hunters first aired another television
documentary regarding the Aurora incident, titled “First Contact”.
The documentary featured one notable change from the UFO Files story
– Tim Oates, nephew of Brawley Oates and the now-owner of the property
with the sealed well where the UFO wreckage was purportedly buried,
allowed the investigators to unseal the well, in order to examine it for
possible debris. Water was taken from the well which tested normal
except for large amounts of aluminum present; the well had no
significant contents. It was stated in the episode that any large pieces
of metal had been removed from the well by a past owner of the
property. Further, the remains of a windmill base were found near the
well site, which refuted Ms. Pegues’ statements (from the 1979 Time magazine article) that Judge Proctor never had a windmill on his property.
In addition, the Aurora Cemetery was again examined. Although the
cemetery association still did not permit exhumation, using
ground-penetrating radar and photos from prior visits, an unmarked grave
was found in the area near other 1890′s graves. However, the condition
of the grave was badly deteriorated, and the radar could not
conclusively prove what type of remains existed.
Conclusion
Given the fact that this incident took place prior to the Wright
Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk NC, the chances that this was a
mistaken military flight are virtually nil. Also this UFO sighting
occurred at a time when communication was slow and cumbersome so it was
next to impossible for people in other parts of the country to know what
happened in Aurora for at least a few days, but yet there were reports
of cigar shape mystery ships coming in for all parts of the country.
To this day the UFO incident in Aurora Texas of 1897 remains one of the most compelling cases in UFO history.
